Milling is a process whereby a machine is used in order to cut away material and shape metal into a range of different shapes. Through the use of a milling machine, a material is fed past a tooth cutter which, through its many teeth, is able to work quickly to machine the material into the required shape.

Through the use of milling, parts can be created with ease, with multiple axis allowing for increased flexibility in terms of the work being carried out.

With 4th and 5th axis machining available, we are able to carry out a wide range of work and can also provide 3D modelling if required.

Aside from traditional milling, we also offer electrical discharge machining – more commonly known as spark or wire erosion - whereby electrical discharges are used in order to manufacture materials into a desired shape. This process allows for more complex work to be carried out than using a traditional milling machine.
